We first discovered this magical place ourselves almost a decade ago after so many of our guests raved to us about how much they enjoyed their stay. "Best vacation ever", "Loved the lazy river pools", "Unbelievable deal" were just a few of the familiar refrains. We knew we wouldn't find Bonnet Creek on the map; there isn't a city, town or county called Bonnet Creek. Was it ruled by an Evil Queen, Cruel Captain or even a Chernabog? No, unlike the mythical hamburg, Neverland and incredible imagination of a fearless Mouse, we knew this place really existed. We quickly discovered that it's perfectly situated on the grounds of Walt Disney World with its four theme parks just minutes away.

 

We stayed in an expansive 2BR Suite with a full kitchen, jacuzzi tub and a balcony at the guard gated Wyndham Bonnet Creek. It was really more space than needed but we certainly enjoyed having all of it. The resort is laid out like a small college campus surrounding a gorgeous lake with fountains. Multiple pools, lazy rivers, restaurants and other amenities are easily accessed along the interior walking path. We felt "at home" during our stay and found the resort size was perfect, not too big or too small. The neighboring hotels are literally steps away and we loved being able to walk to great restaurants and lounges. Everyone we met was so nice including the hard working staff members.

 

Without question, Bonnet Creek is a happy place within the Happiest Place on Earth! Maybe that's why our family continues to go back year after year. We book dozens of great resorts across the country for our family friends and guests who become friends. This one is very special to us and we felt it needed a place of its own to shine.
